I actually made these back in August, when the weather here in Texas was sweltering. I’m sure I finished them and put them aside with perfectly good intentions of blocking and stiffening them within a reasonable amount of time in order to use them for the holidays. Well, I’ll be able to use them this Christmas. Boy, these little guys are difficult to block, but I think they still turned out pretty. I used a commercial fabric stiffener and added micro glitter in silver (which doesn’t show up in photos). Most of these are Deborah Atkinson’s designs from her Snowcatcher blog. She offers nearly all of her snowflake patterns free of charge. She is brilliant with her designs!
I know if you live in winter weather regions you’ve just about had it with the snow, but snowflakes are always God’s work of art and lovely to gaze at.
